Determining the means of communication used for transmission
Before sending your first message, choose the mean(s) of communication that will be used to deliver it. Visit the Sending settings section to configure the delivery. To view the sending settings, click on the Sending settings link in the blue banner of the interface.

You can send a message using any of the three available means of communication: Voice (telephone), Text and Email. You can choose to use only one or two of these three means of communication; however, you must select at least one of the three in order to send a message. If you deactivate two of the communication methods, the third one will remain activated and will become greyed out so that you cannot uncheck it.

As seen here, you cannot uncheck the three means of communication available in the Sending settings; at least one must be checked.
Once the means of communication have been selected, it is time to determine who will receive the message.
